A cozy private cabin right on the water. Loft bedroom, kitchenette, bathroom and large screened porch make it the perfect getaway. The cabin sits at waters edge, in a large pristine bay with easy water access and quiet woodlands behind. Solar powered with amenities including wifi, lights, wall plugs, mini fridge and indoor bathroom with shower. Located just minutes north of the Cape Breton Highlands National Park. Less than 1km from sandy barrier beaches and ocean swimming.

The space
**** Nova Scotia is still restricting travel from anyone outside the maritime provinces; currently the requirement is two weeks quarantine on entering the province. *****

This solar powered tiny-house style cottage offers a kitchenette, full bathroom, sitting area, cozy loft and large screened deck over looking the water and forests beyond. Good wifi, solar power, propane hotwater/cookstove and large bright windows make it a great summer getaway. Quiet and private location. The middle aspy river location offers fantastic paddling and we provide two flatwater kayaks to explore with. Weekly and month discounts.

Other things to note
As a solar powered tiny home this place is amazing for adventurers. Resort and hotel folks, this might not be for you. The tiny fridge is solar powered, and while there is a large battery bank, you do rely on the sun for juice, so conservation is important. We provide a cooler and ice is available locally for additional refrigeration. The location offers remote lovely privacy, so you will have to travel a little off the beaten path, while not far off...it calls for an adventurous spirit and the desire for something totally unique and private.

We are a little family living at the edge of the world in Northern Cape Breton. We are avid sea kayakers, hikers and bikers, not to mention cross country ski and snow shoers. Real water, rocks and trees kinda people.
