Kumbogie Cabin is an eco friendly (off grid solar and battery) private retreat situated on a working sheep farm. Nestled in a secluded location approximately 900m from the nearest dwelling, access is via a dirt track and a couple of gates. It is located at the base of the farm's surrounding hills it has stunning scenery, natural bushland and an abundance of Australian flora & fauna. The cabin itself is perfect for any couple looking to have a romantic getaway. Thereis a no children policy.

The space
The cabin allows for guests to be self-sufficient for the stay featuring an oven, stovetop, microwave and fridge.
Tea and coffee are provided. The nearest shops and restaurants are approximately 9 kilometres away.

It also features an indoor and outdoor fireplace to relax with a glass of wine or toasted marshmallows.

Due to the eco feel of the cabin and to minimise power use, the cabin has an evaporative air conditioner that will decrease the temperature by approximately 10 degrees

Due to the bush location, native wildlife and no fences. We strictly do not allow pets

We have lived on our 160 acre property since 1997 and love opening our home to others. We currently have a wedding venue called Kumbogie Woolshed where we get to share our slice of paradise with so many lovely people. We have recently built the cabin out the back of our property as a place to get away and enjoy the peace and quiet. While only a 15 minute drive from the city centre it will feel like you are worlds away. Perfect for a weekend to unplug with a glass of wine or set up a romantic picnic for your loved one. We can't wait to meet you!
