Use a kettle to heat water for tea, coffee, or washing your hair in the galvanized basin. Tend a wood burning stove. Watch an immaculate sunrise flood the hillside while sipping a fresh cup of french-pressed coffee listening to the birds sing. Sit around a crackling fire and be mesmerized by the pristine star canopy or stargaze through the skylight from the comfort of a lofted bed. Enjoy the simple things in life. That's what Hygge (Hue-guh) is all about.

The space
Hike the rolling hills to take in the panoramic view and explore the intricate details of the lush trails that wind through the woods. Let the calm soak into your soul as you relax in a hammock, journal, draw or read a book. A respite from chaotic city life. We hope our little house will be a place of rest during your journey on the road or in life. You will be next to our permaculture food forest and another tiny house that is also rented on Airbnb. We are still updating our tiny house when we can so there's running water but only cold, the hot water isn't set up yet so you can use the kettle to warm water to wash your hair or take a rag bath. The heat source is a wood burning stove, so when the weather is cold you need to know how to use it safely and effectively.(we provide one free bundle but then it's $5 a bundle which is bigger than you will get at the store, it pays for the time, work and gas put into cutting down trees, cutting the logs, splitting the logs into fire wood, stacking and drying it. You can't use an electric heater, our electricity is not able to support that yet. There is a composting toilet. A mini-fridge, a cooking top with a pot and pan with cooking utensils. The oven doesn't work yet.You have your own fire pit where you can cook food and roast marshmallows to your hearts content. We may have other campers staying on the property so just be respectful of their stay and they are reminded to do the same for you. We love sharing our land with whoever God sends our way, we love to speak into people's lives and hearts with destiny, encouragement and truths so please feel free to chat with us. But if not that's ok, rest here, feel the love and just be.
-We offer long term options with a discount as well.
-For big families or groups you can rent out this tiny house and our friend Stephanie's Gorgeous tiny house that is about 70 ft away.
see it here-> https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/43509092?guests=1&adults=1&s=42&unique_share_id=6dba0e38-4f9d-459c-a807-15cf0048d582
- If you would like more of a camping experience we have a few sites available on hipcamp.

Guest access
Please walk around and enjoy our property. There is a beautiful spot on the tallest hill where you can see out for miles in a 360 degree panorama. If you go up there, walk in the alfalfa field past the campfire area, don't go in the pasture that is fenced in, there is an electrical fence there and cows inside.

Other things to note
we are a permaculture farm with lots of projects going on and few people to do everything so there may be some areas outside here and there that aren't the most aesthetic looking 🤪

Ponca, Nebraska, United States

(Because of quarantine call these places to see if they are open and what their rules are, if you're interested.) We are 10 min from Ponca State Park which is 2,000 acres on the Missouri River with beautiful bluffs, hills and a tri-state overlook. You can hike on many trails, bike, kayak, ride horses, fish, hunt, swim and more. They have the Missouri River Outdoor Expo in September and all year the naturalists are doing something fun & interesting. And 2 miles away is Powder Creek Wildlife Management Area.

My husband and I are agricultural missionaries and we "home"school our 3 boys so we travel often. We love healing people and land. We have a permaculture farm where people are welcome to stay to learn from us or to just enjoy the glorious midwest rolling hills. We are also artists, crafters and educators of natural and supernatural truths.

During your stay
We live in a yellow house about 450' away through the woods. We have kids but we will make sure they respect your time here. We may be working on projects outside or inside but feel free to find us if you need anything or have questions. Also we are a place of healing and refuge so if you need prayer, dream interpretation or would like to hear some crazy awesome miracle stories we would love to encourage and bless you! And if you just want to be left alone that's totally fine too. Come rest and be.
