AS FEATURED IN THE FLEURIEU LIVING MAGAZINE, Soldier Settler is a beloved original farm house on the iconic merino sheep and cattle farm of Eleanor Downs. The sweeping views over the 1500 hectare farm is yours to enjoy in complete privacy. You'll see koalas, kangaroos, wallabies and echidnas roaming free in your backyard and experience a working sustainable farm. Many a night has been enjoyed by the fire with a glass of wine playing board games, reading books and watching movies.

The space
Solider Settler is a 4 bedroom farm cottage, decorated in a modern farm style. You will be able to sink into luxurious Sheridan linen and towels.

The country farmhouse dinner table seats 10 guests and you will have a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need.

Fire wood and kindling for your use during the cooler months.

On the deck you can cook yourself a snag on the gas BBQ and sit outside on the outdoor dining table or by the outdoor fire.

Indulge on one of our breakfast or picnic hampers full of local ingredients. Enjoy at one of many picturesque locations on our farm or out on adventures to some of our local hide aways. Please message for more information.

There is a picnic basket you can take on your day trips or just relax and stay at home with the board games, books, toys, wifi and Netflix.

If you are a plane enthusiast why not fly yourself in and hire the car available exclusively for guests.

Children are welcome and will have a wonderful time enjoying so much space.

Sorry no pets due to the wildlife and livestock on the farm.

Guests are welcome to walk in the paddocks and visit the creeks. It's best to stick to the lane ways and always leave the gates as you find them because stock will be in most of the paddocks.
