Venus Bay Eco Retreat hosts max two adults in one self contained cottage nestled in a private wildlife sanctuary by the sea. The cottage is reverse cycle air conditioned with a modern interior. Nearby are stunning beaches and wetlands, rural villages and national parks. A short drive to restaurants and cafes. An authentic nature retreat with abundant wildlife and a sustainable travel choice with solar power, organic products and vegan friendly kitchen.

The space
One only two storey timber cottage away from suburban areas and holiday crowds. Self contained with vegan friendly kitchen indoors and a cook top outdoors on the sheltered deck for cooking meats and sea foods. Quality linen, Australian wool quilts, bath sheets, beach towels, certified organic bathroom and kitchen products, organic teas and plunger coffee provided. Reverse cycle air conditioned with quality furnishings and original art works. Private and peaceful, surrounded by protected bush land and wildlife. Free, secure off road parking. Visit nearby beaches, bird-rich wetlands, rural villages, slow food restaurants and national parks. Close to Wilsons Promontory National Park, Cape Liptrap Coastal Park and Bunurong Marine National Park. A sustainable choice with grid connected solar power, rainwater and on site composting.

Guest access
Guests have access to one self contained two storey cottage located in 5.6 hectares of private bush land. The owner and Airbnb host lives on the property.

Other things to note
This property is a protected wildlife sanctuary where privacy is valued for guests and for wildlife. Due to Covid-19 we are no longer able to accommodate day visitors during your stay. Wildlife information is available for your interest. A small selection of nature documentary DVD's and music CD's are provided in the cottage. Mobile phone reception can be patchy depending on your provider. Unfortunately WIFI is not currently available at this location however many guests connect online successfully via their mobile network.
