Gowanlea, an 1870 Victorian House once owned by the Duke of Argyll and passed to Duncan Ferguson, Procurator for the Duke of Argyll until 1881. Now a stylish bed & breakfast!
We're very close to all amenities including the ferry terminal and a whisky bar!

The space
John and David live here with their two teenage children and a gentle giant of a dog called Gino. We moved here in 2019 because we just fell in love with the area. The scenery is unbeatable and it's a great place for kids to grow up in. We've loads of experience in hospitality and we're all looking forward to your stay!

Guest access
Unlike a hotel room, we offer you more of a suite. You get your own bedroom(s), your own private bathroom and your own lounge. This has a TV, media services, streaming services, Alexa and a lovely log burner. You share the hallway with the owners but otherwise, the ground floor is yours!

Other things to note
Continental options are available from 7 am, hot breakfast orders are taken between 7:30 am and 8:30 am, serving until 9 am. If you have any other requirements please let us know. However, if you have dietary requirements please do let us know, so we can accommodate you properly. Thanks.

This part of Campbeltown is in a conservation area and much of the architecture is a splendid example of Victorian creativity. It's a lovely area of town!
