This two-story, cozy hideaway has a private drive and patio. Native stone and hand hewn beams in basement bedroom provide an unique stay. Full kitchen, modern bathroom, and washer/dryer. Come and go at your leisure. You will receive a keypad combination a day before your scheduled check-in.

Where you’ll be

Louisburg, North Carolina, United States

Wayside is located in a rural area near the town of Louisburg, which includes the oldest, two-year denominational college (Louisburg College) in the US (Sherman's Army camped here on their way home after the Civil War). Visit Tar Banks Brewery, Joyner Park, Blue Collie Coffee Shop, Johnny's BBQ, and Johnny Bull's Steakhouse. You can run or walk in the historic district full of beautiful homes. Small town charm makes your stay very accommodating.

The North Carolina Star quilt block on the exterior of Wayside is featured as a stop on the NC Quilt Trails of the Tar & Roanoke Rivers.
