Dear Holiday-takers and Business-makers,
You are very welcome to come stay in my Spanish, Artist's loft in the centre of Graz. I'm sure that you'll feel very comfortable here and enjoy it as much as I do. With the Opera, a daily farmer's market and great cafes outside your door there is plenty to and see.

The space
There are two big spaces and a bathroom in the loft. The downstairs space is used as a very cosy (and yet bright) living space and kitchen. Upstairs you'll find the sleeping space.
IMPORTANT: The whole apartment is open and the sleeping space is SHARED, meaning there is no wall between the two beds and no wall between living room and upstairs bedroom (just glass). There is however a room divider and a curtain between the two rooms and a curtain separating the living room from the bedroom space (not shown on photos) It is exactly like a hostel dorm (but with only 2 beds instead of 16...)

For this reason my place is one of the cheaper accomodation offers in Graz but the whole shared room thing has never caused any trouble before:)
However, If you are uncomfortable sleeping in the same room as someone please do not book!

There is space in the fridge for you so you can go shopping and make your own food in the kitchen.

There's a balcony on the second floor where you can smoke and look out upon the back garden

Other things to note
DESCRIPTION SUMMARY: THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

-The room is shared. My part and your part is separated my a heavy curtain (exact same as a hostel dorm, except with 2 lovely, big beds instead of 10 sad ones)
-You will share the room with me. I also sometimes have friends over for dinner etc.
-My place is really great for you if you plan to be out-and-about a lot during the day. Generally It's not really ideal for staying here the whole day to watch movies or practice the flute, for example, because I work from home and will be here often.
-You will be able to check yourself in and out with flexibility because i am using a lockbox with the keys inside that you can assess at any time during your stay.

Location

Graz, Steiermark, Austria

Although situated in the very center of Graz, my neighbour is rather charming and non-commercial. My favourite thing about the area is the farmer's market which takes place every day (except Sunday) at Kaiser-Josef Platz, which is a one minute walk from my building. There you can try out various Austrian specialities or sit and have a drink in one of the little cafes or bar huts surrounding the market. That's great in summer when everyone comes out to the market place to drink a bier in the sun. There's also a student cafe (Tribeka) and the best falafel shop in Graz (my falafel). I would really recommend taking up a conversation with the owner- he's very friendly and gives good advice.
And of course we have Stadtpark, a big long park which stretches all the way up the town. It's about 2 minutes away from my place. At the foot of the Stadtpark we have the Opera. It's somehow a very lovely feeling to just step out of your house and then right into the opera to see a show...something I would also highly recommend.

I am very social and spend a lot of time with my friends. That usually means that I like to have some quiet, relaxing time by myself when I get home.
That doesn't mean to say that we can't spend some time doing something together though:) Guess it just depends on the day.
