Available from 31st October 2014 following a complete restoration. From humble beginnings and originally two cottages, Bourton Croft Cottage now boasts the ultimate in amenity and comfort, just 20 metres from the river.
Can I bring my dog, he smokes 20 cigarettes a day?
Ah no, we are sorry on both counts, no pets and no smoking. We love animals but we had to make a call, hence the hypo-allergenic duvets and pillows. The thing is, people that don't get a reaction to animals have no problem in a animal free environment, but the reverse is not true.
Are we permitted to entertain friends during our stay?
Certainly, be our guests and invite your guests over. Bourton Croft Cottage is a wonderful place to entertain. We are happy to recommend local food producers, farmers, growers, brewers and cheese makers, of which there are four within a 6 mile radius of the cottage. The Cotswolds is a fresh food haven and if you really want to spoil your friends we can organise a chef to come in and cook for you.
After 20 years as a long haul Stewardess for British Airways I have now planted my feet firmly back on the ground. Having spent half my life in Hotels I understand the importance of being away from home and all the things that make travelling a joy rather than a chore!
In Bourton Croft Cottage, Clive my Husband and I have designed and created a very special place to share, see and enjoy so many wonderful things in God's own country, the Glorious Cotswolds.
I was born and grew up on the rural outskirts of Liverpool and have always been a country girl at heart. I moved to the Cotswolds in 2001 and this is where I'll stay.
Tending my two allotments, entertaining friends with good food and wine and walking are what sums me up.
So if we can tempt you with our First Class service, look no further.
Happy to make Bourton Croft Cottage an exceptional Cotswold home for you for a short break or a week or two.
Steeped in History, Oozing Charm, Dripping with Quality and Comfort.
