Hillagammi is the "Best Unique Spot Holiday Home" 2019 award winner in Europe. It is a unique and beautiful little cottage located in the Kaldoaivi Wilderness area. The cabin offers total privacy. You won't find any neighbors nearby. Here you are truly part of nature.
​It is the best place to see the Northern Lights. If you love nature in its purest way, hiking, cross country skiing or you just seek total peacefulness, Hillagammi is right for you. It's also a very romantic getaway for couples.

The space
The price includes linen and two-way transportation (100€ direction) from the closest road to Hillagammi with snowmobile or ATV. Summertime and depending on snow situation only for luggages. The cottage is located 5 kilometers from the road. Hillagmmi is a wilderness cabin, it doesn't have running water or regular electricity. It has an outhouse and wood-heated sauna for washing up. Hillagammi has 12 volts of electricity, led lights and two USB charging ports. The cabin is heated with a fireplace and a petrol heater. There is a gas stove for cooking. The cabin doesn't have a fridge, food is stored in the little cellar. The drinkable and clean water needs to be fetched from the river nearby.

Other things to note
The cottage has some mobile phone coverage, but your phone might nor work there well. WiFi connection can be arranged for extra fee.

The towels (one big, one small) arent ment to use in sauna. If you want to use towels in sauna, prepare to take your own.


End cleaning does not include dish washing, also please take your food out from the fridge when leaving.
