Mapua is popular holiday destination, well-known for it's buzzy wharf area, a great selection of cafes and bars and restaurants only a few minutes walk away. A short walk in the other direction takes you to Mapua village with it's famous bakery, a Superette, pharmacy and gift shop. At the end of Tahi Street, you'll find a park with stunning views of the estuary and mountain ranges.
