A cozy one-bedroom apartment with private entrance and private deck in the country. Perfect for long-term rentals, traveling nurses/techs, etc. 10 minutes to UM Charles Regional Medical Center. Minutes from beautiful downtown La Plata, with restaurants, shopping, fishing, camping, and fabulous seafood. 30 min from National Harbor, MGM grand casino, or Metro station. 45 min to downtown Washington DC, the National Mall, monuments, and Ronald Reagan airport. Quiet and cozy. Come, stay awhile!

The space
Fully-furnished, one bedroom studio apartment. Your own private front entrance with digital lock; private full bath; kitchen; full-size refrigerator; private washer/dryer; and your own thermostat! Space includes a love seat with storage ottoman, your own dedicated high-speed Verizon FIOS wifi and TV with all your favorite channels (Hulu, Netflix, etc). There’s a table with extendable leaf for dining, studying, writing, etc. You have your own private deck with table and chairs and views of the birds and wildlife. Park in your own private parking space in the driveway, and come and go as you please. You have complete privacy and autonomy. We are very popular with traveling nurses, techs, and other professionals. Come, and enjoy your home away from home!

We live in a small, quiet neighborhood of mature adults, on a cul-de-sac set deep in the woods of Southern Maryland. The town of La Plata is vibrant, clean, and full of charming restaurants, family-owned businesses, and seasonal festivals. Charles County is the jewel of Southern Maryland, with several farms and a thriving amish community who sell their produce and products at markets in the summers. Our property backs up to 250 square miles of forest. Wildlife sightings (deer, turkey, bald eagles, owls, blue Herron) are abundant. Starbucks, Panera Bread, Target, Walmart, CVS, Lowes, Safeway and Giant are all within two miles.
