Here at Crystals we offer our Cabin, set on 2.5acres of unique tropical gardens & rainforest. Our resort style home is nestled onto the foothills of the most pristine rainforests in the world.

The space
Our fully self contained cabin accommodates two people, is furnished with a very comfortable brand new queen bed, Kitchenette and dining area fitted out with everything you need, bathroom with bath and shower sink and vanity. Sliding doors lead out onto elevated timber deck with views of rainforest covered mountains, Cockatoos, Kookaburra & Curlews will keep you amused for hours!

Our property is a half kilometer walk to Crystal Cascades with beautiful walking tracks and swimming holes, waterfalls and barbecue areas, just as popular with the locals as with the tourists....We are just a 20 minute drive to Cairns airport and into Cairns City with great shopping, a diverse range of restaurants & Casino for evening entertainment. Our local Red Beret Hotel with restaurant and bottle shop has a great menu with inside and outdoor dining, does lunch and dinner they also provide a courtesy bus which will pick up and drop off 7 nights a week.

Ideally situated within easy access to Port Douglas, the Daintree and all of our fabulous Far North Queensland beaches. The Kuranda Tourist Train, Skyrail Rainforest Cable way, Tjapukai Theatre, Water Ski Park, Armour Tank Museum are all within 10 minute drive from here.

Located only 20 minutes away from the Cairns CBD you are also very accessible to the famous Great Barrier Reef trips.

During your stay

The main house is occupied by my husband John, myself and our sweet little shitzu Bella, we have lots of chooks which enjoy the run of the yard.
I am usually pottering around the garden so am on hand for any questions you have and am happy to help advise on or book trips for you.
