The space

[New in 2017: second air conditioner and refinished wood floors). This house is a former farmhouse built in 1860 with many modern updates. Located 1/2 mile up Route 79 on West Hill. Winter inlet views. Comfy bedroom with queen sized bed and two futons in the living room (room faces the road). Large kitchen and living room. The bedroom and living room have hardwood floors. The apartment has high speed internet. Large assortment of local travel brochures and vacation guides Small ironing board and iron available for use. For longer stays, laundry use may be arranged. Old Ithaca photos on the walls. Healthy breakfast foods to serve yourself include fresh fruit, yogurt, bread, cereal, eggs and coffee or tea. Snacks included as well. Fenced side yard. Off street parking space for one mid-size vehicle. Direct busline to downtown and Cornell. Less then 1 mile to West End restaurants, boat rentals on the canal and GreenStar health food store. Walking path along the canal to Cass Park accessible 1/2 mile from apartment and boat rental shop nearby. The Ithaca Commons is a 25-minute walk (1.5 miles). Island Fitness Health Club, GreenStar Cooperative Market (whole foods and deli eatery), a liquor store, and Wegmans Supermarket, Felicia's Atomic Lounge, the Boatyard Grill and Maxie's Supper Club are about 0.75 miles away.
