Built in 1900, Penrose retains a wealth of original features, including fireplaces in most of the large and spacious en-suite rooms. Chris & Heidi provide a warm & friendly atmosphere, and like nothing more than to help make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We are ideally located for exploring Cornwall as the Eden Project and beaches are only 10 minutes away, and the north coast only 40 minutes. Lostwithiel itself is a hidden gem with lots of antique shops and lovely walks.

Penrose is located on the outskirts of Lostwithiel, but only a 5 minute walk to the centre. There are lots of amenities close by, including a golf course, train station, outdoor activities by local arrangement, castle, coastal walks, cycling, gardens, fishing, sailing and of course The Eden Project. The local beach is a 10-minute drive away and the north west coast is only 40 minutes. Lands End takes just over an hour. Lostwithiel is a hidden gem and well placed to explore the whole of Cornwall.
