Great location
100% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
A bright and cozy studio tucked in the rear of an historical house built in 1884, and updated with modern amenities. The queen sized bed is lofted above to maximize living space underneath. There is a balcony out back to sit and sip your morning coffee, and a backyard garden with plenty of fresh veggies growing in spring and summer, as well as a chicken coop with 4 hens.

The space
The room is bright and sunny in the mornings. There's a cozy armchair, hanging chair, and TV with Amazon Firestick and good WiFi access. The room is connected to the main house, which I live in, however it will be locked off and separate. You'll have your own private bathroom and entrance with keypad code to come and go as you please.

The queen sized bed is lofted 7 ft (there is a railing), but if you think you might have issues getting into or out of a lofted bed, please consider booking elsewhere.

There is no kitchen access, but there is a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker and all the plates, glasses, and silverware you need. There's also a closet for storing things, and a dresser.

There is no private parking, but there is always plenty of free parking on the street out front.

Where you’ll be

St. Louis, Missouri, United States

Very walkable historic neighborhood. The streets are shady, and the houses are mostly pre-1900 construction and there are plenty of fun and eclectic bars and restaurants right around the block. You HAVE to visit Venice Cafe, a very funky bar covered in unique sculptures and art. Be warned though, it's cash only.

Also right down the street is Gus' Pretzels, a St. Louis staple, it's a must-do for any visitors to the city. Also, the Anheuser-Bush Brewery is just across the bridge, they do tours and you can go see the Clydesdales. You'll also be in walking distance of Soulard, a big nightlife district, full of century old homes and businesses. There's also Cherokee street nearby, a mix of antique shops and Mexican culture.
