Stephanie and Trevor welcome you to our beautiful property. The entire ground floor is yours to enjoy and sits on a massive river front environment and comfortably accommodates 8 to 16 guests in the heart of the Swan Valley Tourist area. Enjoy the relaxed pace of our equestrian farm stay. For the most part you will have the home to yourselves as we are out and about or in our private upstairs area. Very secluded - enjoy the rural views over the Vineyards and the Swan River to the Hills.

The space
This is the ideal home for group bookings of 8 to 16+ people:

>> corporate get away etc.

The house is set back towards the middle of the 4Ha property which means it is private and secure. It is also fully equipped so all you need to bring is your food and luggage. Located on the Swan river with direct river access you may also like to bring a kayak?

As a working equestrian property your can interact with the horses (pat, groom and feed - supervised only) and we also have a peacock, 2 turkeys, chickens, 4 sheep, 2 Emus and 3 dogs who love to play (primarily the dogs will stay outside but feel free to let them in or not.)

If you are lucky you will get to see some native wildlife living around the property. If you want a close up experience with Kangaroos, Koalas, Wombat, Snakes, Native Birds and many other iconic Australian animals and farm animals we recommend you plan to visit Whiteman Park (5 minutes drive from the property.)

After seeing the sights, guests can play a game of tennis (rackets and balls supplied) or pool or just sit back and relax for the evening.

The generous sized kitchen is shared with us, we'll give you preferential use and prepare our meals before or after you.

There is parking for up to 12 cars and room for a small bus to park and turn around.

Behind the home we ask you not to enter the work sheds as this area is private. Feel free to walk around the rest of the property, however do not enter paddocks or stables unless supervised.

There is a security gate which requires a code to access the property.

While it is generally quiet you will hear the neighbours from time to time when they are working on their vines and also the planes flying overhead at various times of the day.

The Swan Valley is Western Australia's premier tourist destination and we are located in the middle on the Swan River just minutes from all the popular destinations.

Major attractions include Margaret River Chocolate Company, Duckstein, The House of Honey, Mash Brewing, The Cheese Barrel, Supa Golf, Oggies Ice-cream, Mondo Nougat, Swan Valley Wagon Tours, Ugly Duckling Wines, Oakover, Sandalford Wines, Houghton Winery, Sittella just to name a few. If it's in the Valley EAT - DRINK - DO, it is close by!

The Perth International Airport is located 13km (less than 20 minutes) south of the property and Perth City just 26km away (35-45 minutes depending upon traffic).

For general shopping Ellenbrook and Caversham shopping centres are 10 minutes away. Midland has everything else you need and is a 15 minute drive.

My husband Trevor and I look forward to meeting you as onsite hosts. We live in the home and have our private area on the first floor so you will mostly have the ground floor to yourselves. We have enjoyed been Airbnb guests during our recent travels to China and Singapore and we look forward to making you feel welcome in our home on the river.

We love animals and have a couple of dogs and horses, guests are welcome to meet and interact with them, the dogs can be tied up for short periods if required - ie while you having a BBQ.
