Come and stay in our charming old barn on the outskirts of Mullumbimby.
This historic timber barn has been beautiful renovated with artisan renders and natural building materials to keep its original rustic appearance.

The space
The barn opens up in the back to a deck where you can enjoy the sunset overlooking the flood plains of the Brunswick River.
It is furnished with a queen sized comfortable bed, lounge and table/desk.
We have a beautiful hot outdoor shower in the garden just perfect to cool down under the starry sky.
Attached to the front of the barn is a fully equipped outside kitchen, with dishwasher, gas stove, oven and fridge.
A selection of teas, fresh coffee and other bits and pieces will be waiting for you.
Don’t worry during cooler nights you can make use of the patio gas heater or make a little bonfire and get cosy.

Other things to note
We are a family of 4 living next to the barn in the main house.
Currently there are two playful dogs; one cat and a beautiful horse called Riley living on our land too.
The barn is big enough to accommodate a family with 2 kids from 6 years up. Please get in touch to arrange this prior.
If you like to explore the Brunz River or surf the beautiful beaches of the area a kayak or surfboard can be provided.

The property is in walking distance to town and we have the vibrant Mullumbimby Farmers Market right in front of our doorstep.
If you are into horse riding you could visit the neighboring Equestian center.
We have so many great massage therapists in the area and I’m more than happy to organize someone who comes here as the barn makes a beautiful space to unwind.

I‘m a German born Felt Maker (creating animal friendly sheep rugs for FELT INDIE) living with my family in the beautiful Byron Hinterland. I‘m into all things handmade and natural. I particular love handmade pottery. We have so many great ceramic artists in the area....... don’t get me started. I work from home, actually the barn used to be my workshop. During the week I now work in front of the barn since we have renovated it ( my partner is a builder specialist in sustainable building) as it is to beautiful now to get messy ;-) !! On weekends we are happy to share the space with people who appreciate this unique set up.
