The space
Expect nature, birds, travelling echidnas and quiet. The place is yours with no interruptions, thoughtful touches and anything you could ever need for a furry friend. You will love being 10 mins walk to town 'yet' also being so secluded.

The cottage is made for down to earth nature loving couples, singles, small family or friend groups - it is CENTRED around dogs and our love for our dogs, so this is where you will see the value and investments. It's lovingly designed to be as welcoming as possible but balances this with minimising risk from the occasional less-responsible dog owner (so no heavy designer blankets or cushions, a washable rug, no floor pot plants etc).

It's super quiet and borders a forest on both sides with a gorgeous new kitchen deck. With this sort of nature, the trees may rustle, it gets very dark, kangaroos are all around.

Enjoy the beautiful fire/wood heater, dog beds and multiple bed configurations - including complimentary furry friendly linen for one bedroom on request.

And did we mention the floating workspace, fast NBN and eco touches such as stainless steel coffee pods? There is approximately 10kg of wood provided during the cool seasons and additional bags conveniently located onsite for purchase.

Bedrooms (2) have a Queen bed (master) and the second has a King bed that splits into two long singles on request.

My wish is to provide a lovely, nature and heart infused stay for dogs of all sizes and people of all ages.

PETS
We are super pet friendly. Accountability is with guests for all prevention, reasonable pet clean up and damage. There is a clear and non excessive pet checklist in the house to help ensure no damages and avoid excess cleaning.
Welcome on couches plus complimentary dog friendly human beds on request (for one bedroom and nominal charge for the second).
There are plenty of things onsite including cordless Dyson to help people achieve this.

Guest access
The whole home is yours and setup purely for boutique accommodation, with an abundance of thoughtful little touches to make your stay stress free. Once 'in' there is no hotel service - the place is yours.

There is one bathroom with full bath and large shower, plus a separate toilet (1 toilet in the house).

Other things to note
You may end up wanting to stay forever. You have been warned!

**On accessibility. Hepburn Springs is a hilly place and you generally get 'low' or 'high' properties. This is a high one and has a gradual incline to get into the property, plus a sloped cottage garden and gravel. Please note this before booking for any special circumstances.

**Linen provisions = booked beds (as made) + 2 towels per paid guest. Additional hand towels, bath mats, tea towels. Full laundry onsite.

**Your dogs do not need to be big and boisterous or multiple to stay here (most of our guests have very demure dogs!) However we welcome ALL dogs who have responsible dog-minded owners. Please note that we have to prepare/design for the 'worst' case scenario as the odd irresponsible dog owner does occur. This means ensuring minimal but beautiful design, some hardier pieces and nothing that is overly expensive, time consuming or delicate to clean.

**There are no cots/high chairs/early check-ins or late check-outs for nap times etc due to the 3 hour changeover and possible damages needing fixes between stays.

**Firepit. There is no safe proximity to have the firepit out during fire danger periods so it is away with no open fires permitted on the property for the duration.

**Littlies/pets. If a child will occupy a bed but may have an accident, we have mattress protectors of course. Our guests always BYO additional needs in terms of extra protectors, waterproof sheets or other linen (to ensure comfort for their stay - there are no linen changeovers).

Neighbourhood highlights

10 minutes walk to main street Hepburn, 400 metres to the Hepburn mineral baths, 180 metres down the track to the Golden Springs and right on 64km of trails. It's a hilly area and secluded/super quiet at night right on the pine forest. Yet so close to civilisation and the main road - best of both worlds.

The cottage caters to all but my wish is for you to have an unforgettable experience, specific to you. Whatever that is! So please let me know, as I absolutely thrive on bespoke experiences.

What makes my home unique: The most dog friendly place around
Dog lover, nature lover and enthusiast for personal travel experiences that combine those things :) I designed my places with people like me in mind who also love to take their mates along, if you're lucky enough to be owned by a dog or three. My home has been tested by my adolescent Finnish Lapphund and pupper Maremma. I know what you need for your pets on holiday!
