It's time to shake off the COVID blues and enjoy the Spring sunshine and blossom. We are ready to take bookings from residents of Victoria.

This beautiful 2-bedroom Victorian cottage has been tastefully renovated into an impressive modern home yet still retains many of its original historical features with Baltic pine floors and open fireplaces.

The cottage is in town and walking distance to general store/wineries/pub and café-open subject to Gov guidelines.

The space
Whether you are here for a change of scenery, the bush-walking or the great local wines, we are sure that you will love coming back ‘home’ and relaxing in front of the open fire or enjoying a glass of wine under the stars. There is a firepit in the back garden, large BBQ and a brand new deck ready for you to enjoy.

The 100-year-old Judas tree is the centrepiece of the front garden and displays the most magnificent magenta blossom each Spring. The extensive landscaping is complete with small pockets to retreat to with a book and a glass of wine. There are tables and chairs which can be moved around, depending on the weather.

Inside the cottage there are two living areas, each with an open fireplace (we provide one bag of firewood & kindling) and a split system in the larger room. There is a large dining area with a table that seats 6, so lots of space for platters of BBQ or pizza boxes.

Even though the weather is warming up, the bedrooms still have heaters, electric blankets and wool underlays to keep you toasty at night.

The kitchen is a commercial kitchen, so there is no shortage of pans, skillets, knives etc. Breakfast is "make your own" – you will find a selection of cereals, bread, spreads, jams, teas and ground coffee. Some staples will also be provided.

We are both animal lovers, so pets of all sizes are most welcome. We have had a couple of issues, so a $200 bond will be requested. Service animals are excluded from this request.

The back garden is fenced, however, as there are some new plantings in the back garden please keep tn eye on your dog if it likes digging. Please remove all dog poo:)

If you would like a massage treatment, please let Katy know when you make your booking. Payment is by cash or EFT.

Just letting you know that the cottage is on a main road so there could be some road noise during the day and night.

We always plan to meet you when you arrive, but there is a lockbox at the back door if we miss each other.

We enjoy living in a small country town, as do our neighbours, so please keep noise to a minimum after 10pm.

Guest access
You will be able to access the house and gardens. The annex is a private space and will be locked.

Other things to note
There is a gas BBQ for your use with spare gas bottle so you won't run out. The firepit in the garden is usually stocked with wood and there is a wood pile near back gate. The firelighters are indoors in the living room wood basket.
There are 2 Elgas bottles, so if kitchen gas runs out just turn valve to 2nd bottle and let us know so that we can reorder spare.
