The hotel us ideal for trekkers with its small dorms and beds with hard mattresses... But the real treasure in the place is Hanah who is a super host, who knows her jobs and truly loves people.

We were two days in highlander. Hana is very nice woman, her hostel is good for rest, very clean and charming but you should read all. This is objective review. After our arrival we got an information that we can't sleep in hostel because they have not free rooms, but we'll can sleep one night in other house and we'll can come back to hostel on next day. They told to us that we have to wait for an information what time we'll have to go away from house. Next day after 10 a.m. other couple came to house and told to us that we have 10 minutes for leave this house. After our second arrival to hostel we got an information that our rooms will available after 1 p.m. My girlfriend was sick and she could not wait any more so we got one bed for her. We told to Hana what happened in previous house. She was angry and she apologized us. She offered dinner for us. After dinner she came to us and told that WE'LL HAVE TO PAY 40 EURO FOR BEDS. I paid 60 euro one month ago on airbnb but she told that this was for rooms and now I have pay for beds. We paid because my girlfriend had to rest before our long travel to home next day. One month ago I wrote to Hana which room is cheapest. She ignored my message. I asked her in hostel why she didn't wrote an answer for my question. She told that she can't describe this in message. She promised that before our morning departure to home she make turkish coffee for us, but she didn't make it. She just left a message that she came to sleep late last night and we can make coffee. We woke up and cleaned our rooms. In my opinion owners of hostel and owners of first house misunderstand each other. I think this was a cause why she wanted 40 euro. If you'll be in similar situation just tell to her that you don't pay any more. Best Regards Hana, we wish you all the best.

Warming welcome from Hanna, the place was really nice, the rooms were clean and appropriate for a hostel. And really good advice for hiking in the Durmitor. I will recommend this place to everyone.

Hana is an excellent host - you will feel welcome and at home as soon as you arrive. The room was comfortable and clean, with a bathroom next door. Anything we didn't have, Hana was happy to help us with. We decided to stay a second night, and although there was not space in the hostel, they were able to find us another apartment just a few doors down the road. Great breakfasts too (5 euro extra). Would highly recommend!

Perfect base for exploring! Hana is INCREDIBLY SWEET and gave us AMAZING recommendations for beautiful drives around Durmitor. Thank you!

The room we stayed in was very clean and there was lots of natural light. However there were no towels, we had to ask them ourselves. The room could also have some hooks to hang your stuff (towel, jacket etc) and a mirror so people would't spend time in the common bathroom doing their hair/makeup. The room and the toilet should also have a trash bin. The area was very nice and peaceful and Hana's mother was just lovely. She helped us with check in, breakfast and our bags eventhough she didn't speak much English. Hana wasn't at the hostel while we were there (we stayed 2 nights). It would have been nice to meet her and get some tips what to do while we stayed in Zabljak. Overall the stay was ok but with some small adjustments it would have been great.

We spend a great time at Žabljak. It really took 3 minutes by foot to get to the Hostel. Hana has been very hospitable, she provided us with all usefull information about neighborhood of Žabljak, places to go for lunch etc. The apartment where we lived is quite plain and cozy, corresponds to the price-quality ratio. The only wish is to add a place for hangers. The bathroom was clean. You can cook, eat or just drink tea/coffee at the kitchen downstairs. We are surely satisfied with our choice of appartment. Thanks a lot
