Enjoy affordable comfort in the Catskills at our clean, modern one-bedroom apartment on a small, organic seed farm. Close to rock climbing. 30-minute drive to Kingston or New Paltz.
Spend some time in our new apartment on our small organic seed farm. It's comfortable, clean, and easy. Enjoy bamboo and tile floors, full kitchen, spacious bathroom, comfortable queen-size bed, full-size sofa bed, ten-foot ceilings, and loads of light with full exposure to the East, South, and West. You'll find nice details like a windowsill crafted from black walnut harvested and milled on site; plenty of kitchen implements and supplies, and Hudson Valley Seed Library seed packs on your pillows.
You're welcome to explore the property, which includes a three-acre organic farm, open meadows, orchards, and gardens; a beautiful, rocky, meandering stream; and 20 acres of wooded hillsides.
Interaction with guests
We're happy to give a quick overview of the farm (in-season) and to steer you toward nearby restaurants, hiking, cross-country skiing, tubing, rock climbing, and other attractions. But in general, the space is yours!
Other things to note
This unit is built into the Hudson Valley Seed Library's new Seedhouse. It shares a wall and a ceiling with a workspace that is occupied Monday-Friday from 8am to 5pm. Outside of these hours, the rest of the building is usually empty. The workspace is by no means loud, but this unit is probably not the best fit if you want a weekday silent meditation retreat. On the weekends, though, you'll find the building mostly silent.
Check in time is 3:00 pm. Check-out is 11:00 am. Sometimes negotiable. Dogs are negotiable, too. No smoking of any kind.
