Other things to note
Award-winning sustainable design
This unique cabin forms part of an award-winning sustainable property that received the People's Choice Award for Sustainable House Day 2017. The property was also featured on Living Big in a Tiny House, episode Mar 23 2018, showcasing its thoughtful design and connection to the surrounding landscape.

Starlink Internet
The cabin is connected to high-speed Starlink internet, providing reliable Wi-Fi for streaming, remote work and everyday browsing throughout your stay.

A naturally healthy home
The cabin has been thoughtfully built using natural materials to create a comfortable and environmentally conscious space. To help preserve these materials, we kindly ask guests to avoid using strong chemical sprays, aerosol insecticides and heavily scented products inside the cabin. Suitable cleaning products are provided for your convenience.

No smoking
Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the cabin and bathroom, as the natural finishes can absorb smoke odours. If smoking outdoors, please dispose of cigarette butts responsibly, as this is a rural property where bushfire safety is extremely important.

Getting around
We recommend having your own vehicle to make the most of your stay and explore the beautiful Northern Rivers region. Mullumbimby, Byron Bay, Brunswick Heads and many local attractions are all within an easy drive.

Our resident dog
Our friendly little farm dog, lives near the main house and may occasionally come to say hello. She is gentle, harmless and loves meeting new people.

Flood access
Our property sits high on the hillside and is not affected by local flooding. If flooding occurs in Mullumbimby township, access to the property is typically still available via Coorabell, Montecollum and Coolamon Scenic Drive.

Living in nature
Being surrounded by nature means you'll share the environment with local wildlife and the occasional insect. Thanks to the cabin's elevated north-facing position and open breezes, mosquitoes are generally less prevalent than in many surrounding areas. Keeping doors and windows closed during the late afternoon and evening will help minimise insects entering the cabin.

As part of our commitment to maintaining a healthy home, we respectfully ask guests not to use toxic insecticides inside the cabin.
