Located in the Aberdeen Typhoon shelter, in the South Hong Kong Island, we offer you to experience a unique stay in our spacious houseboat - featuring 3 bedrooms, 5 floors over 2000 square feet of living space, including a main lounge, a kids tv rec room and a top deck with bbq all overlooking a full view of the marina.

The space
Our houseboat is our staycation home while we live in Hong Kong. We are happy to make it available to others who may want to try houseboat living.

- Can accommodate up to 7 people (5 adults and 2 children on futon beds)
- 5 inter-floors of living space
- One master Bedroom with an en-suite private bathroom, closets, AC and high ceiling
- One double bedroom with closets, desk, and AC
- One single bedroom with closets, desk AC
- TV room featuring a large TV screen, hard drive with movies, AC, sofa and two lounge chairs convertible to bed for kids
- Shared family bathroom featuring a bathtub
- Fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee machine, ustensils, etc.
- Rooftop deck with barbecue grill and lounge area

As our houseboat is permanently moored in the shelter, there are some rules that require your attention:
1) Toilets: nothing can be flushed down the toilet except natural waste. Bins are provided for used toilet paper, sanitary products and other waste.
2) Power is supplied by a generator, which can cause small vibrations.
3) Water from tap is drinkeable, but we strongly advise you to use the walter filtrered by the fridge (filter regularly changed)
4) Houseboat is subject to slight waves (from time to time), and taut mooring ropes can be heard sometimes.
5) To get ashore / on the boat, you need to use Sampans - historical and unique Hong Kong taxiboats from about 6:30 am - 1:30am and cost $10 in the day $20 at night.

Where you’ll be

Hong Kong, Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong

This is a thriving marina so you will see luxury yachts and fishing boats coming by throughout the day. You will feel the boat sway now and then with the wakes of big boats but that's part of the charm. Please be respectful of this village.

All of the things you will need for a bbq or necessities are immediately available via san pan to either Ap Lei Chau or Wong Chui Hang.
