The Apartment is 2.5 hours from Perth, just 50 meters from the Ocean and beach, with only a walk/bike path separating the two, there's nothing CLOSER!
It is the perfect location to explore WA's beautiful South West Region which includes Margaret River, Augusta and lots of beautiful small towns.
It has 3 Queen beds and Bunks, baby cot and high chair, quality linen and towels are included, everything you need to cook with and has ducted Reverse Cycle Air Conditioning for your comfort!

We walked and rode the path along the coast that runs behind the property for 15kms each direction and can confirm you won’t find a place to stay that backs immediately onto Geographe Bay like Viv and Barry’s place. The unit is spacious, has everything you need with stunning views to the water and is nicely located to Busselton, the wineries and the many stunning beaches and bays in the area. I cannot recommend Viv and Barry’s unit highly enough.

We were a group of 6, 2 from the UK, 2 from Victoria and 2 from Brisbane. Following a week in Fremantle we wanted a location close to a beach but also close enough to explore Margaret river and the surrounding area. Barry's communication was great from when we first booked (1 year earlier), and closer to our holiday, with some useful tips on places to visit, eat and things to so...and also responded quickly to any queries. The accommodation, facilities (pool, sauna, parking) are close by and larger local shops are a short drive away. The beach is a on the door step and the cycle/walking path provides easy access to other beachfront locations. ..we walked and ran to Bussleton. We stayed 11 days and visited many beaches, wineries followed by evening meals at the accommodation and also visited Bussleton a few evenings. We all had a great time, enjoying the accommodation, local area and amenities.
A great place and location, thank you.. we really enjoyed the stay. It's the first place we have visited (in many years) with sharp carving knifes in the kitchen. A small detail , but it's the details that makes the difference and gives you confidence that the owners focus on everything thank you

Great place and unreal location. We all had a great time! The 2 minute walk to the beach was the highlight; and the beach was incredible. I would recommend bringing bikes/scooters if you have kids as there is a bike/walk track which runs alongside the ocean. We bought some cheap fishing rods from Kmart and had fun fishing with the kids. We spent hours in the ocean. Would highly recommend :) Cheers

Viv and Barry’s home is in a beautiful location, only meters to the beach. It is quiet and serene and we loved the view from the balcony.

Viv and Barry were very easy to communicate with. The apartment was in an absolutely perfect position across from the water with a great walking/cycling path close by. It was not far to drive to the Busselton centre and we found the location to be very relaxing and quiet. Even though it was June, there was plenty to do. I would highly recommend this great place.

In a word...idyllic! We couldn't have asked for a better location or a better appointed accommodation. Between walking across to the beach and sitting on the balcony enjoying our morning cuppa, or eating a meal with the gorgeous view, we could have quite happily stayed at the accommodation the whole trip. it was easy walking to local places like Claudio's and Amelia Park Lodge, and easy driving distance to Dunsborough, Yallingup, Margaret River or Busselton if desired.
Thanks Barry and Viv for sharing such an amazing place! Stef had a real aussie beach holiday treat and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Complete with dolphin sighting on our first evening while walking along the beach! I hope that I'll be able to return to your beautiful accommodation with my husband and son in the near future.

Couldn’t recommend this accommodation any higher. Fantastic location and a beautiful beach which is great for kids. Short walk from shops and Busselton if you’re up to it. The apartment is well appointed with all the things you need to cook and entertain. I will definitely be back!!

One of the things we enjoy most is the peace and quite, you get used to going to sleep and waking up to the sound of the Ocean and the Birds!
The photos give a good indication as to what you can expect, but like all photos it is always better once you are standing there!
The 3 Bedrooms can sleep up to 8 people. The Master Bedroom has a Queen Bed and Ensuite, the Second Bedroom has a Queen Bed, and the Third Bedroom upstairs has 2 single beds and bunks. There is a Second Bathroom which also has a Washing Machine and Dryer and a second Toilet is adjacent.
There are uninterrupted Ocean views from the 2 downstairs Bedrooms, Kitchen, Dining and Lounge areas.
The 3rd Bedroom is upstairs, perfect for the kids to relax with games or to watch a movie, whilst the adults enjoy the privacy of downstairs.
The Lounge area has a very comfortable suite to curl up on for a nap, have a chat, enjoy the Ocean view or turn on the 42' TV and watch a movie.
There is now Internet connected to our Apartment.
There is a fantastic outdoor Swimming Pool, children's Playground, Gym and Electric BBQ's for your use.
Our Apartment is located 10 minutes west of Busselton, 30 minutes from Margaret River, 10 minutes from Dunsborough, 20 minutes from Smiths Beach and 45 minutes from Augusta.
All of Western Australia's top Wineries are within 35 minutes from the Apartment.
Busselton has all major Supermarkets and lots of specialty shops as well. There is a Deli, Wood Fired Pizza Cafe and Liquor Store within walking distance.
One of the loveliest things about staying there is sitting on the balcony and enjoying the magnificent view, looking for dolphins swimming by and enjoying the fun water skiers, fisherman and people crabbing have on the water. You can walk along the beach for miles in either direction, even into Busselton if you like. If you take bikes down you can use the bike path right in front of the Apartment to ride in both directions.

Hi, my name is Barry. My wife, Viv, and I are in our 50's and have lived in Mt Pleasant for the last 17 years.
We have three grown up children. Jesse, our eldest son lives close by in Como, while our second son Scott works in North Canada. Our youngest, Amy, is a nurse at Murdoch Hospital and lives near by in Bicton. Which is the reason why we now have 3 bedrooms spare and joined AIRBNB in 2012!
Following the great experiences we have had with AIRBNB hosting people from all over the world, we have decided to list our Holiday Apartment as well.
Having worked in the music industry for most of my life, I love to have music playing whether sitting around, working in the garden or driving. Viv is a retired school teacher and loves reading and is a great cook! We both enjoy going to the movies, good food and wine, going out for Dinner and to Cafe's.
A highlight of each year is our annual camping trip exploring the great state of WA and as we did in 2014 a fantastic road trip across Australia!
We both love to travel overseas and meet new people. The USA, Canada and France are just a few of our favourite places.
We used AIRBNB on our trip in 2012, which is why we chose to list our home with them.
