Moyes Apartment is centrally located in the old Post and Telegraph Office. It’s an open plan, light filled space furnished with quality antiques, comfy couches and superb linens. There’s a smart TV & Netflix. The building dates to the 1870s and has high ceilings, beautiful architectural elements and of course is in the centre of town which makes for easy access to everything.

The space
This unique building offers a central base for your east coast stay. Beautifully appointed with great attention to detail. Plush towels, an amazing shower, superior quality linen and super comfy furniture. Miss Rebecca Moyes was the postmistress at St Helens from 1898 to 1904.

Miss Moyes adjoins our other Airbnb The Surveyors Cottage. Great if there are two couples travelling together - check it out.

My family moved to St Helens in 1966 from a dairy farm just an hour north. I have lived and worked in the area all my life. I’m now semi-retired after owning retail businesses in the area until early 2021. I feel blessed to live in such a beautiful part of the world. It’s lovely to be able to welcome people from all over the world to sample the paradise we live in.
