Set by the duck pond across the lawn from historic Orongo Bay Homestead, the Garden Suite has two decks for breakfast, outdoor snacks or observing duck & birdlife. The terracotta-tiled room sits between peaceful ponds with a choice of decks for lounging or viewing water and birdlife.

A breakfast pack is provided for your first morning; Nespresso in-room.

The space
The Garden Suite is the sun-filled corner room of an architect-designed "barn" set between 2 duck ponds on the organic estate of historic Orongo Bay Homestead. Our eco-friendly policy reflects simple luxury: natural bathroom amenities, healthful food, creature comforts and lots of air-freshening mature trees. Wifi and a compact flat-screen TV plus CD/DVD are available in your room. Light and airy, with access through two sets of French doors to the outdoors. 25 years professional operation ensures consistent high standards of service and cleanliness.

Guest access
Your entry and both decks are for your own private use. The Garden Suite has been designed for guests needing easy access, with wide doorways to NZ code specifications, adjustable wardrobe racks, high WC, grab rails in bathroom and by toilet, and low light switches and plugs.

Other things to note
Do use the sweeping lawns and lounge spaces of the main Homestead for quiet relaxation or contemplation. Always nearby, your hospitality professional hosts are foodies and wine tutors, keeping a discrete distance, unless you require help with touring arrangements or a libation from the underground cellar. Dinners can be custom-designed for min 4 people at the time of booking.
