You are guaranteed a warm welcome and a restful night's sleep in this lovely old house in a quiet area of Pitlochry. Ensuite bedroom/bathroom. The hosts have been in the area for nearly 40 years and can offer advice if required to enhance your stay.
The house is a semi detached traditional Victorian villa in a quiet cul de sac close to the centre of Pitlochry. Large garden to the rear which guests can enjoy if the sun shines! The comfortable double bedroom has a lovely view of the garden and the bathroom which offers a bath and electric shower is just off the bedroom. The bed is an antique Scottish brass and iron double bed which we have recently restored and has a new mattress. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. Towels, bedding, heating, radio, free wifi, shampoo etc provided. Hairdryer in the wardrobe. Off road parking beside the house. Continental breakfast provided with real coffee and homemade rolls and jams served in the conservatory at a time that suits you.
Guests will have access to an ensuite double bedroom and private bathroom and the garden with its two patios if the weather is good. Access to the room will be by the front door of the house.
Interaction with guests
Virginia will be at the house to welcome you. Virginia's husband is a keen fisherman, golfer and hillwalker and can give advice on what the area has to offer if required. As guests will use the front door, it is also possible that you can have as much privacy as you want.
Other things to note
Guaranteed a restful night's sleep, this is a very quiet area of Pitlochry yet is very close to the centre of town. Summer, autumn or winter duvet will ensure you have the right temperature for sleeping well. Early breakfast is available if required.
Please note that the speed limit on the A9 is strictly 60mph / 96kmph, except on dual carriageways when it is 70mph/112kmph.
Sorry, no pets and no smoking in the house. No extra guests at this time. No carry out food in the bedroom. The kitchen is not available for cooking. We are quiet and would ask our guests to respect the peace and quiet of the house, particularly after 23.00. If you are out late please remember to lock the front door when you return.
I have been retired for 4 years and loving every minute! I like to cook and bake, and have a big garden which keeps me busy. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, particularly my two grandsons. I have met some lovely people from all over the world through airbnb and I really enjoying welcoming people to our home.
