The space

Private room in spacious house overlooking Boundary Bay.

Boundary Bay is the body of water that separates South Delta from USA. A large regional park surrounds the Bay which is an internationally recognised migratory bird area on the Pacific flight path. It's a bird watcher's paradise! There is no day when one doesn't see at least three species of birds. Bald eagles, gulls, sandpipers, herons, plovers....abound.

Quiet, serene with everchanging view.

Guest room with a day bed besides a bright picture window. Room has a desk and chair. Bath and washroom adjoining.

Towels and toiletries supplied.

Kitchen equipped with gas stove available for light cooking.

5 min walking distance to 2 trails, park and cafe. 4 min drive to Point Roberts, WA, USA.

A unique cosy cafe and bistro along the street a few minutes stroll. The village has several interesting shops, boutiques and restaurants. Upscale stores with specialties - gifts, shoes, beach wear, chocolate, speciality olive oil, gifts plus two pharmacies, and grocery stores.

Home is situated on bus route to a shopping centre and gyms. Severalcafes and restaurants are an easy 10 mins stroll. Local bus to the other end of Centennial beach and village. The bus stop is literally just steps away.

Buses leave every 1/2 hour to Vancouver. Service is more frequent during peak hours Monday to Friday. Link to transit: (Website hidden by Airbnb)

Susan will make you feel very welcome. And the view of Mount Baker from her living room window is stunning. However, if you're planning on getting around by public transportation, you will need to account for a lot of time.
