A century old high set Queenslander surrounded by working vineyards. The Old Farm House has been extensively restored and is carefully furnished with vintage and antique furniture. It has a large country kitchen ideal for those who love to cook. Beautiful lounge room and bedrooms make for a luxurious holiday. The house boasts wide wrap around verandas, 2 fireplaces and a fire pit in the large yard.
Located 10 minutes south of Stanthorpe and central to all the attractions on the Granite Belt.

The space
The Old Farmhouse comfortably accommodates 6 guests. The house has 3 large bedrooms with furnishings designed by Tina Kent of Lady Chatterly's Affair.

Main bedroom- King size bed
2nd bedroom- 2 x King single beds
3rd bedroom- 2 x King single beds

All linen and towels are provided and each bed has an electric blanket, doona and quilt.

Our large open plan kitchen is a dream for those who love to cook. The kitchen features 2 ovens and 2 dishwashers. We have KitchenAid appliances, Wedgwood china, large bowls and platters for entertaining, and baking and cake making essentials. We have Nespresso coffee pods, organic loose leaf tea and pantry staples for your use.

The vintage and antique furniture and features throughout the house have been carefully collected. Many pieces are hand crafted by famous Brisbane furniture maker Ed Rosenstengel.
The large new bathroom has a rain head shower and a huge, deep bath. There are 2 toilets in the house.

There is a beautiful open fireplace in the kitchen and a second fireplace in the lounge room. We supply all firewood for your stay.

The house has ducted air conditioning throughout.

The wide verandas overlook the surrounding vineyards and have an inviting cane lounge suite that is perfect for your morning coffee and afternoon wine. The large grassed yard that surrounds the house has established shady trees and a rustic firepit.

The house has very fast WiFi access. The lounge features comfortable leather chesterfields a fire place and a large TV with Netflix, Stan and Prime as well as free to air channels.

For your enjoyment we also have picnic baskets to borrow for lunch in Girraween, vintage china for a lovely afternoon tea, linen table cloths and napkins for a special dinner and cosy rugs for curling up by the fire.

Other things to note
The seasons on the Granite Belt can be dramatic. Always pack a hat for the bright blue sky days and always bring something warm. Yes, even in summer the evening here can be cool.
