Welcome to the home of Kangaroo Island Olives - the 'Little Liguria' homestead.

Having undergone a major renovation in 2019, this character home is nothing like you've experienced before. Located within walking distance of the olive grove, beach, horse stables and nature trails, it's the perfect location to enjoy your holiday on Kangaroo Island.

Centrally located between Penneshaw and Kingscote means you have easy access to the most popular sightseeing, food & wine destinations KI has to offer

The space
The recently renovated 'Little Liguria' homestead can be found nestled between our oldest olive grove and the Nepean Bay waterfront. Named after the famous region of Northern Italy, in honour of the Ligurian olive tree and honey bee (which are both farmed on the property) the original homestead is situated within walking distance of the olive groves, beach, horse stables, seasonal lagoon and nature trails.

Kangaroo Island Olives' is a native vegetation heritage agreement holder which means large areas of bushlands are protected for conservation and biodiversity. You are guaranteed to see wildlife in their native habitat during your stay.

Constructed mostly from locally sourced materials, the octagonal shape is truly iconic and breaths circular, regenerative energy into the life of the home. Having undergone a major renovation in 2019, the home offers complete privacy, while providing a centralised base from which to visit the many attractions across the island.

The house comfortably accommodates 6 guests in 4 bedrooms. Additional single beds can be arranged (not in private bedrooms) and there's plenty of camping space.

Guests have access to the entire property but should always stick to tracks, obey signage and avoid wandering off too far. If you have a 4WD you can drive onto the beach, otherwise it's a short walk on foot. A 4WD is recommended but not critical.

The space is made up of 4 bedrooms, 4 separate beds, 1 bathroom, separate toilet, mud room/laundry, foyer/office, open lounge, dining room and kitchen.

All bed linens and bathroom towels/linens are provided. No need to bring your own (unless you want too).
