RECONNECT, RECHARGE AND REWILD IN BEAUTIFUL PEMBERTON

WELCOME to “RIVERSIDE at RYAN'S REST“
A place to RECONNECT with loved ones, the land and with nature. A place to RECHARGE and retreat, close your eyes, breathe in, smell the fresh air, UNWIND. A place to DIGITALLY DETOX (YES....UNPLUG!!) and REWILD off grid, in a nature based environment and as part of a regenerative agricultural system is all connected as one living, breathing ecosystem.

The space
“Time here is different.....you wake as nature awakes.....”

Your off-grid, purpose handcrafted, Tiny House is very well equipped, making it an experience far removed from camping - in a space exclusively for you and your loved ones. It has a full size queen bed down stairs and a double bed in the loft (accessed by a ladder) all fitted with quality French linen bedding, hot & cold running water, kitchen with fridge/freezer and a two burner gas stove top. The space has a full-sized bathroom, shower, vanity and inside composting toilet.
There is also an outdoor patio area with gas hooded barbecue and a fire pit. Sync your favourite playlist with the speaker provided or just listen to the symphony of frogs, abundant bird life and witness the many other forms of wildlife frequenting the valley.

* Please note our wonderful outdoor copper bath can only be filled with COLD WATER at this point in time.

Our beautiful farming property is 15 minutes (12 km) from Pemberton, nestled amongst the Karri trees and with a 3 km Warren River frontage. Indulge in the peace and tranquility of our off grid Tiny House, with majestic views over the Warren River. The world famous mountain bike track, The Munda Biddi, is only 300m from the Tiny.

Warren Valley Farm is a working potato, cattle and citrus farm. Although we are not certified organic, we manage the farm using natural systems and operate under a regenerative farming model. We harvest different products year round and love to connect people to their food and further develop an understanding of where and how food is produced. Please let us know if you would like a tour of the the property to share ideas about food production, landscape management, sustainability and the natural systems that we use.

Other things to note
The listed rate is for TWO guests utilising ONE bed. Please book for three guests - if requiring the second bed for two guests that are not sharing a bed. (This helps us with the additional cleaning and linen costs...thank you!)

* The ENTRANCE ACCESS to RIVERSIDE is at 500 Grays Rd - opposite the Lake Janis Dam wall

* Our outdoor bath is currently NOT HEATED and is filled with cold and untreated water - until we can engineer a heating / filtration mechanism. Lovely as a plunge pool in warmer weather however…

* Our farm, Warren Valley, is a working rural operation and there may be times when noise, machinery, dust and livestock movement may impact your stay. However this is generally very minimal.

*** PLEASE NOTE THAT DURING THE LATE SPRING AND SUMMER OF 2025/2026, (DUE TO OUR ROTATIONAL, REGENERATIONAL FARMING PROGRAMME) THERE MAY BE SOME FARMING ACTIVITY IN THE PADDOCK ADJACENT TO RIVERSIDE. This will involve a few days a week of paddock (tractor) preparation, irrigation and the harvesting of potatoes in March.

* There is up to 10km of gravel road leading to Ryan’s Rest. At certain times of the year there may be corrugations or potholes. It is two wheel drive access.

* Mobile phone services services are limited on site, however if your provider is Telstra or a Optus, a short 100m walk will allow you to send and receive messages. Full signal is available a 1.5 kilometre drive away - at the corner of Grays and Horne Rd. Please download or confirm directions before leaving the nearest town.

* Under a minimal impact code, we are off grid - having adequate power/rainwater for the energy and water conscious!
(Unfortunately LENGTHY SHOWERS are the biggest culprit and a showering time of less than 2 minutes is suggested to maintain adequate water supply for your stay)

* The refrigerator is a 96 litre bar size.

* There is a Nespresso coffee pod machine available for your use.

* The nearest town of Pemberton is 12 km away, so please ensure you have adequate supplies - although it is a very nice drive into town (depending upon road conditions at the time!)

* There is deep water 50 metres from the Tiny House location. During Winter this becomes a swift water course.

* We do not provide towels for swimming.

* Please note the additional pet fee
