A hidden gem of an apartment with pool, garden and terraces all for your private use only. It has the look and feel of a private villa. In a small, peaceful gated urbanisation it's located in the picturesque Axarquia region of Andalucia. 5 mins to Alcaucin, Lake Viñuela and with views of the beautiful Tejada mountains and countryside. Walking distance to local restaurants & amenities, the nearest beach at Torre Del Mar is 20 mins by car and 45 mins from Malaga airport by a good road network.

The space

Although an apartment, it is unique in having it's own private pool, garden and 3 terraces, which are solely for your use, and not shared with anyone else. It feels more of a villa than an apartment!
It is well equipped with everything you will need, and really is a home from home. It has brand new, quiet air conditioning which can be used on both cold and hot settings, as well as ceiling fans in all rooms.
This is also one of the few apartments in which you'll find a log burning fire for cosy winter breaks.
The master bedroom has a beautifully comfortable King Size Divan bed so you'll be sure of a good night's sleep.
The second bedroom has two comfortable twin beds.
All bedding is provided and beds are made up ready for your arrival. If staying longer than a week the apartment will be thoroughly cleaned, bed linen replaced, and fresh towels provided. The pool is also cleaned at that time.
Lots of cupboard and wardrobe space in both bedrooms.
The family bathroom is spacious and all towels for both bathroom and pool are provided for you.
Outside there is the added bonus of a poolside fridge/freezer to keep those drinks and ice creams close to hand when relaxing by the pool.
Fast wi-fi, street parking, BBQ, sunbeds, sunshade, and outdoor dining areas.
A small welcome pack is provided to help you settle in.
And if you're travelling with bicycles the garden area has plenty of place to store them.
You'll hear no traffic noise at this property, all you'll hear is the local birdsong.

The entire space, pool, garden and terraces are exclusively for your use and not shared with anyone else..
There is a shared pathway leading to the gates to the property. The apartment itself has it's own private entrance.

Other things to note
You will need a car to make the most of your stay here. There are however 2 buses which go each day down to the coast.
Lake Vinuela is 5 minutes by car, or a 30 minute walk.
The pool is prepared for your stay, irrespective of time of year
Cushions for sun loungers are kept in a bunker in the garden
There are power sockets outside in the Gazebo area for charging phones etc.
It's generally accepted in this area that loud music doesn't impact on residents after midnight, and it seems to work beautifully.

Between the mountains and the sea. This property will suit those who prefer an independent holiday away from the crowds, yet close enough to be within walking distance of local amenities.

Lake Viñuela is a must whilst you're here and is just 5 minutes by car or a 30 minute walk. The stunning turquoise water and countryside never cease to impress. Beautiful to picnic, walk or cycle around in summer or winter, and there is also a Kayak centre at the lake. No motorized boats are allowed on the lake to spoil the tranquility.

If you like walking, trekking, or cycling there are stunning mountain trails that can be easily accessed as you’ll be on the edge of the Tejeda and Almijara Natural Parks. The historic town of Valez Malaga, and beaches at Torre del Mar, Torrox, and Caleta are also within an easy 20-30 minute drive.

The drive from Malaga airport is 45 minutes, and the City of Malaga itself should not be ignored - it's a vibrant, historical and bustling city and is well worth exploring.

The city of Granada is 1.5 hours drive, and for ski-ing in winter months you can reach the beautiful Sierra Nevada Ski-ing slopes in just 2 hours.

I purchased my Spanish apartment a year ago, and now let it out for part of the year. I love spending time in this beautiful part of Spain, there is so much to explore and everyone is so friendly. The apartment is ideally located, 20 minutes to the coast, and even closer to all the beautiful white villages. Even in the middle of winter, it's lovely to relax by the pool too, even on the 1st of January as the sun seems to shine all year long.
