With 2 double beds and 1 single, whether you're a solo traveler or looking to treat your family to a weekend, we can accommodate your needs. Spend some time with the alpacas, or hang with the other animals. From paddocks to creek banks, steep hills to rainforests and into the caves, our property has plenty of space for you to explore nature.

The space
Mulla Villa Farmstay is situated in the Wollombi Valley on a 75-acre property home to an abundance of native wildlife.

Visit our gift shop and purchase a ball of our 100% pure alpaca wool made from our very own alpacas. Catch a glimpse of the kangaroos and wombats out for their evening dining experience. Go bushwalking or drive the 4 wheel drive track to the caves.

If you're an early riser wake up early to enjoy a morning stroll and catch a sight of the nocturnal animals, such as kangaroos and wombats making their way home.

We provide ample parking for your vehicles, including buses. We even have enough space for your guests to be dropped at the front door.

Where you’ll be

Wollombi, New South Wales, Australia

Mulla Villa Farm is a stunning sandstone property, built by convicts in 1840. It was the original local Magistrate’s home in the Wollombi Valley. The first owner of Mulla Villa was David Dunlop – he lived there with his wife Eliza.

Both David and Eliza were born in Ireland, and are buried in the Wollombi cemetery. Today, you can tour the original convict cells, enjoy a walk to the old well, and learn more about the Convict Trail on your way to Mulla Villa. We offer Guided History Tours 7 days a week – Bookings are essential so please contact us for more information.

Mulla Villa Farm is situated just minutes from the historic Wollombi village, the gateway to Hunter Valley Wine Country.

We recently saved the old cowshed and turned it into a stunning, barn style, rustic wedding venue where you can hold your affordable country style wedding or event.

Mulla Villa is the perfect destination for your group booking or bus tour to the Hunter Valley.
