15 minutes away from the vineyards, on 30 acres of farmland and stunning views. With animals just outside of your front door. Feel free to meet the goats, alpacas, horse and cows. Breakfast will be provided in your fridge for you to cook and enjoy. If youd like to stay in and cook, our contacts can be used to get food items such as prime cuts of beef, sides of salmon etc. A personal chef can be organised and parties can be hosted and catered at the venue with forward planning.

The space
Its brand new! We have just finished our tractor shed conversion and opened it up for accommodation. Its beautiful, peaceful and comfortable. Ive always thought the important part of a stay is a good shower, comfortable temperatures in any weather and a good bed.

Where you’ll be

Lower Belford, New South Wales, Australia

Lower Belford is on the other side of the Hunter Expressway/New England Highway to the Vineyards of the Hunter Valley. The cellar doors are within a 15 minute drive, but Lower Belford is near the banks of the Hunter River and the site of the Hunter's first vineyards. As time has unfolded Lower Belford has turned into a farming area with large land holdings and people farming crops and cattle. Its a very quiet, pretty area that has quick access to all the Hunters attractions.

I've been a winemaker in the Hunter Valley for over 20 years. My wife and our 2 teenage children have lived on a lovely 30 acre farm for the past 3 years.

During your stay

I live in a farm house near by the accommodation. As such issues can be easily resolved. Its nice sometimes to share a glass of wine with a guest, but I wouldnt want to intrude on their stay.
