Welcome to our quirky, colourful home! Our two bedroom terrace is filled with colour and light. The property is full of life, as we have a love of plants and gardening, and for collecting knick-knacks and trinkets on our travels. Our house has a mix of mid-century and recycled furniture, with the exception of the beds, which are modern and comfortable. We hope you find as much enjoyment from our property as we do.

The space
Perfectly positioned in the heart of North Melbourne, is this fantastic single front period home. Comprising entrance with two large bedrooms both with built in robes and decorative fireplaces; good sized living with gas log fire; a modern kitchen with gas cooking and dishwasher; updated bathroom with washing machine space leading out to your own private low maintenance courtyard. Guests have the exclusive occupancy of the house during their stay. Light pours in through skylights and high windows, brightening the interior of this classic terrace house.

The house is equipped with stylish furniture and appliances and has everything you would need for a comfortable stay, we want you to feel like home. The first bedroom comes with a comfortable queen-sized bed, the second bedroom with a comfortable double sized bed. Both topped with hotel quality linen and towels, professionally cleaned after every stay. Our fully equipped kitchen comes complete with an oven, cook top, cooking utensils, appliances (microwave, kettle and toaster), a fridge and basic pantry supplies for those times when you just want a home cooked meal. The bathroom is large and has a generously sized shower for you to enjoy during your stay. Large backyard is quiet and great for chilling out, it has a table with two chairs you can enjoy eating breakfast on as well as a BBQ you can use at your disposal. House comes with unlimited WIFI and a 50” flat screen tv with Chromecast, allowing you to connect to your favorite streaming services like Netflix or Stan. A washing machine is located in the laundry room, as well as an ironing board and iron. There is street parking out the front and space to park a car in the backyard.

Also did we mention that the house is animal friendly. Animals are allowed in the house and have a large yard to play in. The house comes equipped with an outdoor doggy bed and the second bedroom has a large cat tower in it. There are various cat and dog toys and dog beds through the house. Animals are able to have free roam of the house and we trust your judgement when it comes to leaving dogs out and about in the house when you’re gone, in their crates, or leaving them out in the yard.

Our place is right around the corner from Errol Street where you can enjoy an amazing brunch at Auction Rooms, get some stellar hot chocolate at Mörk Chocolate Brew House, or head down to Oskar to get some authentic pizza. The 57 Tram is on the corner and will take you directly into the city. It’s minutes away from the CBD, but quiet enough to enjoy a restful night’s sleep.

Location

North Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

North Melbourne is one of the city's most dynamic and complex areas. An eclectic mix of Victorian terraces and old factories, alongside more modern low-rise apartment blocks and community facilities.
Boutique shopping, warehouse apartments, and booming immigrant communities define North Melbourne. If you don’t own a car or want to live a stone’s throw from Melbourne CBD, this is the urban destination for you.
Walking distance to restaurants and cafes, shops and night life, Victoria market and other famous attractions. The magic of North Melbourne can be found in the boutiques and restaurants on Errol and Victoria Street. Supermarket, Banks, Post Office, Library and much more available in the North Melbourne downtown strip. Located on Queensberry Street, the old North Melbourne Town Hall is the home of Arts House, Melbourne’s contemporary center for performance and interactive artforms. Arts House also becomes the Melbourne Fringe Festival hub during the course of the festival. The area also includes the historic Meat Market, a hub for creative arts and cultural productions. Queen Victoria Markets is just a quick walk away, where you can get amazing fresh produce and even gifts for your loved ones back home.

Locals love
•Errol Street – with its Victorian facades and verandahs, which were cleverly revamped some years ago, and the array of shops on offer.
•Its cafe culture (Auction Rooms, Roasting Warehouse, Code Black) but also its many restaurants and bars (The Town Hall Hotel, Libertine, Joe Taylor, Prudence) as well as social and cultural venues (The Meat Market, Lithuanian Club, Comic’s Lounge, Two Ton Max).
•That you live on the edge of the CBD. But not only that, North Melbourne sits on the doorstep of Parkville, which means the University of Melbourne, Royal Melbourne and Royal Children’s hospitals and the open fields of Royal Park and the Melbourne Zoo are all just minutes away on foot.
•Apart from easy access into town, it’s a quick jump onto the freeway, particularly if you’re heading to Melbourne Airport.
