My husband, Roy and I have always loved having family and friends stay with us, so we are truly delighted, in our retirement years to have had the opportunity to renovate a wonderful old Virginia Farmhouse with our son , Jason and make it available for others to enjoy. Currently, we are residing in CA and Jason is the property manager of the farmhouse in VA. My husband spent years in the military, so we traveled a good bit and gathered friends everywhere. We treasure each and every friendship and rarely meet a stranger. I have spent years as an artist and decorative painter and designer, so renovating and decorating the late 1800's farmhouse with my son and a wonderful local Contractor and Crew was an absolute delight. Jason has had past years of experience in the hospitality industry so this is a wonderful fit for him and he is so grateful to be living in such a beautiful, serene setting, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. He has his own living space in the house and although he will share the kitchen at times and the laundry room, he greatly values the tranquility and privacy country living affords and will safeguard that experience for you as well. Our greatest wish is that "The Crane's Nest' becomes your home away from home and your experience is one that truly nourishes your heart and soul.
