EVERYTHING YOU NEED AND MORE! Fully stocked kitchen with fridge, freezer and oven, queen bed with luxury linens & 2 fire pits. We also have 5 Safari Tents @Mussel Beach available. Staying in Comox? Check out sodamnluckyglamping

The space
High quality linens and a completely stocked kitchen makes our Barrie Bigfoot so easy to snuggle into and enjoy your holiday.
A refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven and all the necessities to create your gourmet meals are included.
We've staged our Bigfoot in a cosy, private, Oceanfront site here at Mussel Beach. You have your own trail to the beach right out front of the trailer. The site comes complete with firepit, hammock, picnic table, stressless chairs and Weber barbeque.

Guest access
Barrie is on it's own camp site nestled in a private oceanfront site. There is a double hammock and a fire pit on site, and a picnic table covered with a canopy. On your arrival you will have a 18 L bottle of drinking water and wash water. You can purchase ice and firewood from us for a reasonable price.

Other things to note
The gravel road to Mussel Beach is approximately 30 minutes. It can be a rough road, depending on time of year and weather, just GO SLOW and you will be fine (low lying cars not recommended). Mussel Beach is a remote Wilderness area, off the grid, no power, no running water, guests are expected to follow Bear Aware procedures. We are located approximately 55 minutes from Tofino and 35 from Ukee. Note that the Mussel Beach gate is closed between 10pm and 7am. Showers are open 9-9.

Mussel Beach Wilderness Campground is off the beaten path, it takes a bit to get here, but oh so worth it. Ucluelet is a quaint fishing village, a 35 minute drive away. You can pick up anything you may need there. Tofino is a 55 minute drive away and is a quaint artsy, surfing town. Then there is Long Beach in-between, a must see. There is whale watching, fishing, kayaking & hiking all nearby. Or you can stay put at Mussel Beach and do some serious chillaxing, beachcombing or hike to a cave.
