Light, bright coastal living cottage, with edible garden to forage in. We are approx 900m from the local township and shops, situated at the end of a culdesac with no passing traffic. You will enjoy full sea views from bedrooms and living room, and watch the ferry cross to the mainland from the wrap around deck. Quality facilities include Miele dishwasher and washing machine and SMEG oven. You are invited to forage in the garden around the house. Free wifi too!

The space
Our garden around the cottage provides sanctuary for many native birds including our beautiful bright blue Superb Fairywren and the tiny green Silvereye. Seated on the seafront deck you can often watch dolphins swim by, and if you are lucky a whale.

We live on the coast, and 1km to the best beach in Penneshaw - Hog Bay, with safe swimming waters, and a long fine white sandy beach. Penneshaw is the gateway to Kangaroo Island and the ferry terminal is just two minutes drive to Kokumi. Penneshaw is a lovely small coastal town with a locally run supermarket, a great pub, and more options for dinner than other towns on the island. Want somewhere special to eat - check out our Info Manual at Kokumi. Two fabulous winery cellar doors are just minutes from Kokumi.
Penneshaw hosts Sunday Farmers Markets each first Sunday of the month. Our town is surrounded with amazing pristine waters, abundant wildlife and superb natural environment. You will find the beautiful Kangaroo Island Sculpture Trail at Penneshaw too!

We live on Kangaroo Island and enjoy our local environment. We love to garden and use herbs and veges from our garden. Wandering through the bush looking for unusual plants and birds is a favourite pastime, that and travelling the world.
