Beautiful tiny house/lake cabin on the Grand River, with 1.5 acre swimming and fishing pond that has a water trampoline, kayaks, and zip line. Within 5 miles of spectacular wineries and famous covered bridges. Bike trail only 1/2 mile away. Sleeps 5 comfortably and has option for tent camping around the pond. This is the place to stay to enjoy a private getaway that can be relaxing and fun!

The space
Cabin is equipped with solar power, which is great for charging phones and running a fan at night. WE CANNOT GUARANTEE ELECTRICITY. Sometimes prior guests accidentally plug something in that uses up all the solar power. If you need more power, feel free to bring a generator. We do have a small compact mini (really tiny) fridge in the cabin that works with the solar power, but we would recommend using the extra large outside cooler (which can hold 4 days worth of food and drinks). For a bathroom, we have a port-a-potty with a non potable water sink. Most enjoy bathing in the pond. Guests must bring their own linens (queen sized sheets and blanket needed for the main bed), pillows, sleeping bags, towels, life jackets, and anything else you would need for camping and cooking outdoors.

Please bring your own firewood as there is limited and sometimes no firewood on the property.

Staying at the Grand River Tiny House/Lake Cabin is where families make memories for a lifetime. Children and adults have so many adventures, but given the zip line, water trampoline, and other activities, guests who stay here agree to use all water and land activities on the property at their own risk. By staying on the property, guests agree to not hold us liable for any injuries, accidents, or death. We recommend all children under 12 years of age wear life jackets while swimming.

Pets are allowed outside of the cabin and on the property, but due to allergies, no pets are allowed in the lake cabin please.

Please also take your own trash with you when you leave so as to keep the property free from the litter that may happen from animals if trash is left on site. We appreciate your efforts in keeping this space beautiful for all guests to enjoy!

Other things to note
To keep fees low, guests are expected to clean the tiny house/lake cabin before departure. Otherwise a cleaning fee of $75 will be deducted from the deposit. The price of the tiny house/lake cabin already includes the 5% Ashtabula Lodging Tax.

Minutes from fabulous wineries and beautiful covered bridges. Lake Erie and the fun town of Geneva-on-the-Lake within 10-15 drive from cabin. There is also a well maintained bike path, the Western Reserve Greenway, a 1/2 mile from the cabin.

We get asked what wineries we like the best and honestly we love them all. Here’s what we like about just a few:
Laurentia – Newer winery that is beautiful and has small plates of great food.
Lakehouse Inn – On Lake Erie and has the best food, hands down. Great place for anniversaries or special occasions.
Ferrante’s – Great restaurant that has huge selection of both sweet, dry, and ice wines, also live music.
Debonne’s – Family friendly (our kids love the real wine bottles of grape juice), great appetizers, love the wine flights, sangria, and homemade beer, outdoor grilled food, and great music. We go here a lot when we haven’t showered in a couple days.  They also have hot air balloon rides every other weekend during the summer. Some days dogs are allowed too.
Laurello’s – Closest to us and has great flat breads, salads, wines, and live music.
M Cellar’s – Great location as close to lots of wineries, great appetizers, and across the street from Red Eagle Distillery
South River Vineyard – An old church with a beautiful patio overlooking the vineyards. No food, but you can bring your own.
Kosicek Vineyards – Has ice cream wine.
Grand River Cellars – Our favorite place to go when everywhere else is closed as they serve a large food menu late into the night and have good wine.
Old Firehouse Winery – On Lake Erie in the heart of Geneva on the Lake, kids like the fire truck, throwing rocks in Lake Erie, has bar food.

Other things to consider doing in the area:
Checking out the covered bridges
Going to one of the nearby orchards or farmer markets
Kayaking down the Grand River
Going to Geneva on the Lake (Putt putt, arcades, boardwalk food, Lake Erie)
