Big Yard Escapes has two new Tiny Houses set on vast, peaceful bushland near Jindabyne. Mighty gum trees rest on hills rolling down to the rumbling Mowamba River where deer and kangaroos roam.
The off-grid Tiny Houses have plush furnishings, a fully-equipped kitchen, a bathroom, gas heating and refrigerated airconditioning.
Big Yard Escapes also has a web site with videos.
Big Yard Escapes does not charge service fees and gives a full refund for cancellations due to Covid.

The space
Both eco-friendly Tiny Houses offer studio-style accommodation in which everything is new. They are suitable for two guests and have double beds with quality linen beside oversized windows so that you can sleep in while being up close with nature. Roll out of bed for breakfast in comfortable chairs with a fold-away table or sit outside beside the fire pit with a cuppa.
This Tiny House, named Wilderness, is slightly larger and more privately located than the other Tiny House named Bushland. It is now grey because I have repainted it from the white colour as it appears in some of the photos.
All linen and towels are supplied. The full kitchen has a gas cooktop and oven and a full-sized fridge-freezer and big windows to help bring the outside in. The shower has instantaneous hot water, plus there is a vanity with a mirror and a composting toilet. There is also plenty of storage space.

Big Yard Escapes is on the doorstep of the Thredbo and Perisher ski fields and the walking and bike trails of the Kosciuszko National Park. The region is known for its trout fishing, waterskiing and sailing on Lake Jindabyne and natural beauty.
The property is peaceful and home to wildlife including kangaroos, deer and lots of birds. Walk downhill 400m from the Tiny Houses to the cascading Mowamba River surrounded by big, old trees, picturesque rural views, wide open spaces and stars galore as part of a unique off-grid experience.

I love the outdoors, especially snowboarding, 4WD camping, wakeboarding, mountain biking, fishing and sitting around the camp fire with friends.
I have found my forever home in the Snowy Mountains and called it Big Yard Escapes which I hope you will enjoy as much I do.
