Great location
100% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
Nestled in a very private corner of our beautiful 5 acre property sits ‘The Lazy Duck’ Tiny House.
The perfect spot to sit and relax and enjoy a glass of our very own ‘Duck Lake’ chambourcin as you overlook rural views, wildlife and the very vineyard from which the grapes were hand picked.
Once you’ve had a chance to relax and renew, if you can tear yourself away, you might like to get out and explore the many local vineyards and culinary delights that the Southern Highlands is famous for.

The space
The Lazy Duck Tiny House is a unique, cosy and luxurious space proudly designed by us.
It contains a fully equipped kitchen, including stove top, oven and full sized fridge.

The bathroom consists of a shower, vanity and top of the range flushable composting toilet.

It sleeps up to 4 people. There is a set of stairs leading up to a loft bedroom with a queen sized bed. The custom made lounge downstairs also pulls out to form a generous double bed.

All linen, towels and pillows are provided.
Toiletries are also provided.

The private outdoor area has a bbq and picnic table as well as a fire pit ( if conditions permit).

Guest access
Guests are more than welcome to wander around and explore our property, including the vineyard, dam and gardens.

Other things to note
Local produce Breakfast packs are available as an optional extra for an additional $25. BREAKFAST OPTIONS: We offer a bbq pack (includes; sausages, bacon, eggs and fresh bread- provided for you to cook/ vegetarian option is also available) or a continental style breakfast (includes; muesli, yoghurt, milk, fresh seasonal fruit, bread and spreads) *Items may vary depending on availability. Please advise us when booking if you would like a breakfast pack included for your stay.

Children are welcome, although we don’t recommend children between the ages of 1-5 years as the main bedroom is a loft bedroom and could pose a safety risk, as well as the fact that we have a dam on the property. We ask that children be fully supervised, so as to avoid any accidents.

Obviously having a loft bedroom requires guests to have to climb stairs and have limited head space in the bedroom area. Please be aware of this when booking, it may not be for everyone. Although, the lounge also converts to a bed if you prefer not to use the loft bedroom.

Also, please be aware that we live on the property as well. Although, our family house is a fair distance from the tiny house, and the tiny house is very private and has it's own allocated area.

Location

Exeter, New South Wales, Australia

Exeter is a beautiful little country village of the Southern Highlands. In fact, probably one of the areas best kept secrets! It has a strong community feel, which is especially evident if you wander down to the friendly Exeter General Store for a delicious meal or coffee. The General Store is the hub of the Exeter community and a very popular meeting place.
Exeter boasts many amazing wineries, and beautiful rural outlooks. Only 1.5 hours to Sydney and 1.5 hours to Canberra or 45 mins to the coast, it is in a great accessible location.
