There's not a bad thing I could find to say about this apartment besides the fact that it doesn't provide wifi, because I am from New York.. Has everything I need and more! Super spacious (for 2). Darrell helped me figure out a lot of stuff to do and was very friendly and informative. The front desk is super accommodating. I wouldn't mind living here forever if I had the money. Although there is no near beach. Only public pool which is clean and fun across the street. Also a private pool for apartment goers only. Location is GREAT! Right on the strip. Literally couldn't find a better place to stay. Would recommend to anyone! A++
I won't be able to leave a good enough review in comparison to the time we've had staying at Darrell's wonderful apartment. When it says "best location in Cairns", you will be surprised how accurate that claim truly is. With views of the sea, lagoon, and sunrise, there is not a single location that can beat this one. Right in the heart of Cairns close to the night markets, shops, restaurants, bbq's, harbor, and much more! The apartment complex also includes a gym, pool, and barbecue area.
The apartment itself is luxurious! Every room is stocked to the brim with everything you could possibly need. Bathrooms with shampoo/conditioner, kitchen with tea/coffee/& a few beers upon arrival!, living room with movies/books. Although the the place is quite small, it makes up for it in character. Not to mention the kind, gracious, and generous owner, Darrell, who tended to all of our needs from beginning to end. What a guy!
Needless to say, if you are hesitant about renting this place, just do it and you definitely won't regret it :).
Amazing location and view that can't be beat! Very accurate description.
Darrell was incredibly helpful and communicative. His list of recommendations made our trip even better. The apartment was stocked with lots of helpful items in the kitchen. When he found out that one of us likes to fish, he left a fishing pole - so thoughtful!
This is a spectacular apartment, beautifully furnished with the balcony overlooking the sea. The building is like a resort, with reception, pool, picnic areas with bbq, towels provided for pool, ice machine. The location is truly the best in Cairns. It was a 5 minute walk to the reef boat marina and we were picked up for our Skyrail adventure just outside our door on the Abbot side of the building. Having entrances on both sides of the building made it very easy to walk in any direction. The apartment was spotless and well stocked. The A/C worked very well, which was really important in Cairns. Once we found the magic spot on the deck (outside, right corner of table as you come out the door), the wifi worked very well. The washer had a fast cycle and clothes always dried overnight on the rack on the balcony. The view from the shower is amazing. The beautiful new kitchen had everything we needed, including wine, Weetbix, milk, fruit, tea and coffee, all very much appreciated as we arrived on Good Friday so everything was closed. Darrell was a gracious and helpful host. Of the 4 apartments we have rented in Australia, this was far and away the best.
It is the best location in Cairns! We even turned in our car early because you can walk everywhere. The view from the balcony was fantastic. Would definitely stay there again.
Loved the condo, great location and Darrell was very clear and easy to communicate with in terms of arrival times, key pick up, and other necessary instructions etc. Amazing view, rain or shine. Thanks you a lot!
