The Mickey Mouse Club brought me to Colorado in 1955. As sixth grader from Pennsylvania I wanted go to a summer camp like the kids in the Club's series "Spin and Marty." I met Carol (your co-inkeeper) at that same camp. We have lived here at The Goldminer Hotel since 1986. A few months a year (April and November) you would not want to visit but the other ten months are perfect. Wilderness hiking, snowshoeing, skiing are just out the door. Unique shopping and dining in Nederland and Boulder are just a few minutes away.Casino opportunities abound just South of here. There is something for everyone. We hope you will join the thousands of others that we have had the chance to know.
