Enjoy my 3 bedroom Adirondack lakefront camp on Lake Champlain. This place is fully equipped. You get it all, linens, dishware, towels and toys. Feel free to use all my fun stuff. Stand up paddleboards, canoe, rowboat, rafts and even a motorboat.

The space

My Grandfather had this camp built in 1939. It has many of the original furnishings. I have left it the way it's been for generations. You get a comfortable historic feel staying here.

Guest access

You get the entire upstairs of the camp. I have a separate apartment downstairs.

Interaction with guests

You can see as little or as much of me as you like. I grew up here, so I'm pretty knowledgeable on the area.

Other things to note

Grocery and big box stores are in Plattsburgh, half hour north.

Jonathan's place is an idyllic retreat. His hospitality is generous his house lovingly cared for and full of character. The location and area are beautiful. One of the best airbnb places we have been to and we have been to a few

Jonathan was not just a host he was so much more...We ranged from age 81 to 10 and everything in between. He made sure we stayed comfortable and gave local suggestions which we expected from any host...What set Jonathan apart was when he rose early knowing we came for a wedding and took the kids out early to wakeboard. He was aware that they wanted to go so he was up early, gave instructions, kept them laughing, had everyone actually standing on the board and back all before 10 am before they set out to go for hair appointments. The paddleboards where also a hit as well as just sitting under the tree enjoying the views and fresh air...I would recommend this home to anyone looking for some beautiful views and old time charm.

Went with group of buddies on golf/lake trip. House tucked away on quiet part of lake with amazing views and water access. Jonathan was very helpful with paddle boards/boat/grill/bonfire set up. Would recommend to anyone looking for quiet getaway on pristine lake.

We had a great time at Jonathan's camp in Keeseville! You can't beat the view from the screened porch and the camp is well-stocked with everything you need! Although Jonathan lives downstairs, we rarely saw him and he stayed out of our hair. There isn't much nearby, so I definitely recommend bringing all food with you. Other than the frequent trains on the track across the road, the camp is in a nice quiet location. The camp has a rustic cottage feel and could definitely use some new mattresses. Overall, great experience!

Jonathan is a great host, who is very knowledgeable about the history of the area. We chatted when I first arrived, and although he lives in the apartment under the main camp, he was so unobtrusive I hardly knew he was there. He was available if we needed him for anything.

I am very lucky, and live on two of the world's most beautiful lakes. Lake Champlain summers, Lake Tahoe winters. Winters I'm an instructor at Squaw and ski everyday. Summers I manage two lakefront properties. My own family home and my neighbor Patti's camp. I enjoy the lake everyday. I like to stay active, so skiing, wakeboarding, and biking are big parts of my life.
