The Residence at Andrea’s White House is a beautiful country-style home set on 5 acres of natural bushland, offering space, comfort and privacy while still being close to the many adventures of the NSW Snowy Mountains both winter and summer.

It is the perfect base for winter snow fun adventures being close to both Thredbo and Perisher ski resorts.

The Residence is part of a dual-key property. On the other side of the home is our Retreat, a separate fully self-contained accommodation typically used by a couple or small family.
• Each space has its own private entrance
• No shared indoor or outdoor areas
• The internal connecting door remains locked at all times

While most guests never notice the other accommodation, you may occasionally be aware of other guests nearby. We simply ask all guests to be respectful of the peaceful setting.

Being on 5 acres you get a real sense of being away from it all and back to nature, take some time to get away from it all with family, friends and loved ones.
We all need the opportunity to unwind from our busy day to day life. This is a great option to enjoy some the peace after a fun day out exploring. A place to relax and reconnect with family and friends...so important for us all.
We are close to the Kosciuszko National Park where you will find all the summer action including alpine walks, spectacular wildflowers, Mountain bike riding for all levels, fly fishing...a walk to the top of Mt. Kosciuszko will have you standing on the top of Australia.
Thredbo which is a year round Alpine resort is an easy 20 minute drive. On offer are great restaurants, golf, swimming, fly fishing and the very popular mountain bike trails. These trails are for all levels and provide a lot of fun.
The local restaurant Crackenback Farm is a 5 minuted drive and his highly recommended for very good food and wine.
We are very close the famous Wild Brumby Distillery - a schnapps tasting is not to be missed...you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, cake and coffee it is a stunning place to visit with sculptures scattered around the grounds to add to the scene.

In winter you would be close to the snow action. Thredbo ski resort is an easy 20 minute drive and it is a 5 minute drive to the Ski Tube which will take you straight to the Perisher ski fields.

One of the best things about the location is you completely avoid the traffic in Jindabyne when accessing the snow fields !

This is me standing on the top of Mt. Kosciusko watching the sunrise. This is an experience not to be missed if you are visiting outside of winter .... it was super special effort for me as I am not an early morning person but it was so worth it! After living and working in Sydney we have returned the Snowy Mountains to live and pursue other business opportunities. We love the quiet country location of Andrea's White House and all the summer and winter activities on offer. Still working of course but now also enjoying the rural scene. We live on site but in separate accommodation which is great as it allows us to meet our guests and put a face to a name. One of the things I enjoy the most is helping people to get to know the Snowy Mountains, there is a lot to explore and experience in all seasons.
