Where you’ll be

Princeton, Wisconsin, United States

Marquette County is unique because it has abundant lakes & rivers. My family's business, Mecan River Outfitters & Lodge,
offers a full bar & restaurant & lodging. Activities such as canoeing & kayaking on the Mecan River, X-C skiing, fat tire biking on the trails by the A-frame. Also pheasant hunting in the fall.
There are also wineries, (Vines & Rushes, Lunch Creek Winery) breweries (Knuth’s in Ripon) & golf courses within a 1/2 hour drive away, & many unique shops in every little town.
The Amish have many little shops 20 minutes to the South.
There’s many local lakes including Big Green Lake, White Lake, Lake Puckaway, & Silver Lake. All great for boating, fishing, & swimming.
Nearby Princeton, (4 miles east of A-frame) is an Antique capital with a huge flea market every Saturday.
The State snowmobile trail runs adjacent to our property. Downhill skiing/snowboarding is available at Nordic Mountain, in Mt. Morris & Cascade Mountain in Portage.
Devil’s Lake State Park in Baraboo is under an hour drive to the west & offers many beautiful hikes.
