Partly renovated traditional 1980 house in Iceland. A home of a family of 7 that loves to travel, create and spend time in nature. 4 childrens rooms with toys and tipical kids stuff and a garden with many possibilities for active and creative nature loving children.
Only 2 minutes from the property there are small playgrounds, swimming pool an amazing wild nature such as black sand beaches, walking paths and more.

The space
The property is the home of a family of seven, so it is full of life.
Decorations, belongings, structure and more indicates that the inhabitants are children.

Guest access
The main floor is all available for guests.
The basement is not available, it is storage.

Our home is in a small village Djúpivogur: http://djupivogur.is/adalvefur/?pageid=601on the east coast of Iceland, 550 km. away from the capital Reykjavík and about 600 km. away from Keflavík international airport.

From Djúpivogur it takes about 40 minutes- 3 hours to drive to the next villages in the east direction:

(Mývatn is the place were you can visit the Icelandic santa clauses, natural bats and more)
And towards the capital in the vest direction there is a 1 hour drive to Hornafjörður:

Djúpivogur has black beaches and the rough Atlantic oceon surronding the town on one hand and great montians, waterfalls, small woods and farms on the other hand.
The nature, landscape, wildlife, culture and the people around Djúpivogur is all great to experience “real” Iceland, learn from the land and locals.
