This inviting 1 bedroom apartment in the popular Five Forks area is tucked away on a private, 7-acre property set back from the road. Our central location makes commuting a breeze. The ramp to the porch and private entrance as well as the handrail in the bathroom makes the home handicapped friendly. The apartment includes a well-equipped kitchen and thoughtfully appointed dining/living room, bedroom and bathroom. You will be pleased to find a new hybrid mattress that will ensure restful sleep.

The space
At the end of our 1000 foot driveway, you will find Five Forks Best Kept Secret - a picturesque country home complete with a wraparound porch, a classic red barn, and a scenic pasture - all surrounded by established shade trees.

This private apartment adjoins our main residence and is located on the west-side of the home with direct and easy access to the driveway and parking area. You will have full-privilege to covered parking and additional driveway parking as needed.

A short ramp from the driveway ushers you onto a quiet, shaded porch complete with swing, sitting area and private entrance. You won't want to miss the chance to enjoy your morning coffee in this breezy, relaxing setting!

Inside the private 600 square foot apartment you will find a roomy living & dining area, convenient eat-in kitchen, fully furnished bedroom, and en suite bathroom.

The bedroom is accessed from the living area via a pocket-door and features a queen bed with a new hybrid mattress, a wooden dresser, a nightstand, a closet, and tub & shower bathroom.

While the apartment is designed to sleep two, the extra-large couch in the living room will easily accommodate an extra guest. If needed, we are happy to provide a pack and play and high chair upon request.

The living/dining room area includes a cozy gas-fireplace, smart TV (streaming access to Spectrum Select cable channels as well as Samsung's TV Plus), new couch, coffee table, new rocker recliner, book shelf, and a dining room table with chairs for two. One of the folding chairs stored in the kitchen will accommodate a third guest if necessary.

The eat-in kitchen features a refrigerator, oven/stove, microwave, toaster, drip coffee maker, Keurig coffee maker, slow cooker, sink and pantry as well as ample equipment for any cooking needs you might have. The drop leaf tabletop and folding chairs increase the flexibility of this space. Basic breakfast essentials will be provided. You can help yourself to everything in the refrigerator and pantry. In the freezer we stock bagels and waffles. In the fridge you will find eggs, orange juice, yogurt, cream cheese, butter and water bottles. We also provide a variety of K cups, regular coffee for the coffee maker as well as creamer and sugar. The pantry has many miscellaneous items that you may find helpful during your stay.

Rooms are tastefully decorated, stocked with extra linens and designed with your convenience and comfort in mind.

For extended-stay guests, we are happy to make arrangements for periodic cleaning service for a reasonable fee. Please message us with your requirements.

Guest access
Guests will have private access to the apartment and covered porch that surrounds the apartment. They will also have exclusive use of a two-car covered carport.

Other things to note
During the winter months, the apartment is very adequately heated by a set of propane gas logs in a beautiful free-standing fireplace. The logs are thermostatically controlled. During the warmer months, two window air conditioners keep the apartment very comfortable. The kitchen, living room and bedroom are each equipped with ceiling fan.

Five Forks is one of the fastest growing areas in Greenville County. We are located within 2 miles of the Five Forks shopping area which includes supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacies, an urgent care facility, salons, and gas stations. Maple Street Biscuit Company, Java Bistro, and Starbucks are among our favorite Five Fork restaurants to grab a quick bite and a delicious cup of coffee in the morning.

While we enjoy a country setting, we are centrally located to beautiful downtown Greenville, historic downtown Fountain Inn, charming downtown Simpsonville, and GSP airport.

You will have a convenient commute to Furman University, Bob Jones University, BMW, Michelin, Bon Secours Wellness Arena, Heritage Park Amphitheater, MESA Soccer Complex, Swamp Rabbit Trail and Paris Mountain with the major interstates (I-385 and I-85) within 7 miles of our home. Pelham Medical Center with the Gibbs Cancer Center are an easy 10 minute drive. St. Francis Eastside and the Patewood Medical Complex is about 15 minutes away.

Our home is not part of a subdivision. Our seven acres are a private and quiet refuge from the busy-ness of life. While many destinations you may need to visit are nearby, you will feel a million miles away once you take the trip down our long driveway.

We spend a lot of time outside, so we may cross paths during the day. We keep our home quiet and relaxing, but our children and grandchildren occasionally drop in for a visit during the day or evening. This should not affect your stay.
