Kinley stays with his wife, Wangmo, at their ancestral house in Haa Valley, Bhutan. He has three children, who are all studying in the capital. Before starting the homestay 2 years back, he worked as a taxi driver, but now finds solace in being a homestay owner where he gets to spend more time with family / friends. He is also an avid archer, has won multiple archery competitions. You might try asking him for some tips about the national sport of Bhutan. When at home, he loves to help his wife in the kitchen and their farm. He speaks fluent Hindi / Dzongkha / Nepalese languages.

During your stay

Host Kinley and Wangmo are farmers and might have to go out for their daily chores in the daytime. Kinley would happily take you out for showing his village around though, you may also enjoy a session of archer. Keep in mind that he is an archer and can make a bulls eye even from 145m distance.

Kinley can understand and speak fluent Hindi, Dzongkhar and Nepalese (No English)
